DADS HOUSE
January 13th, 2012 by Glendyn
While driving back down south towards Melbourne, we passed near Gosford, so I thought I’d best drop in and have a cup of tea with my Dad.
I lived in this house for a couple of years when I was 11 and I’ve only visited a couple of times since. There are a lot of memories here, both good and bad. It was good to see my Dad though.

Hey Glendyn,
I really enjoy your blog and like to check back regularly for updates.
In particular I like the pictures you take for the blog, the colours are great. Can you tell me which type of camera you use?
Keep up the good work
Thanks
Andrew

Thanks Andrew.
I use Leica Rangerinder cameras. For the past couple of years I’ve used an M8 with a Summicron 35mm and 50mmm lenses. Both lenses are from the late 70s.
Late last year I upgraded to an M9-P!
You’ll read really good and really bad things about M8s and M9s online. And they are not cameras for everyone. But I love them and couldn’t imagine shooting with anything else.

Thanks for getting back to me Glendyn.
I thought it might be something fancy like that. M9-P wow, thats a good Christmas present for yourself!
Thanks for the info and have a great Australia Day

These are so so great. The slithers of half-used Imperial leather soap, the browning video labels… amazing

I thought of you when I took the photo of the VHS tapes. Seriously! I thought you might like them.
